Week 45 Tuesday (11/18/14)

Recipe Review
Today’s Recipe and Location:           Mulligatawny
Found in: The Pioneer Woman blog

I figured out that there are 190 calories per serving, if 9 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

This is so wonderful!

Here are my individual servings

This dish is a cross between a soup and a stew. It has a wonderful chickeny and curry flavor that is just wonderful. The low calorie count is an enormous plus for me. I was the most surprised at this dish because it was nothing that I expected. I was thrilled that I enjoy it and can’t wait to have it again.

Fun with Friends

Tonight I went out to dinner with some friends from school. We went to St. Charles Place in St. Charles. I love this restaurant because the food is always fabulous.

We went for good hamburgers and fries. I had something new – a pretzel bun. Apparently, this is not some new item at the store, as I was the only person who had never had one. It was good, but the bun was slippery with the burger on it. I did like the saltiness of the bun, however.

There is nothing like a relaxing, fun night with friends. Thanks for the invite, girls!

My Gorgeous Girls

It’s that time of year when I need to start thinking about creating our Christmas Card. For the past two years, I have had photos of the girls on the card.  I need to get going on this because I like to address them over the Thanksgiving Day week. Here are some past pictures that I used.

It took a long time to get them to pay attention,
and Sage's bow was all cock-eyed
This was from a few years ago.

This was the one from two years ago.
After sending this a few friends called to see if Willow had died.
Yikes - I never thought that people would worry -
I just thought it was a cook picture

Last year's picture was the blog header.

Here are some of the rejects thanks
to uncooperative dogs. (outtakes)

What's down there???

Willow's about to bark at me,
and Sage is totally spaced out.
