Week 43 Wednesday (11/5/14)

Recipe Review
Today’s Recipe and Location:           Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls
Found in: The Pioneer Woman blog

I figured out that there are 336 calories per serving, if 24 servings are made or 213 calories if 38 rolls are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

I just rolled it up and let it rise a little longer on the tray

They are now ready to bake

Out and cooling.....

The buttercream icing just oozes over the top and sides

Cooling and ready to serve at school

These pumpkin cinnamon rolls are as easy to make as the sticky pecan mini muffins. In fact, much of the recipe is the same as that recipe. Once again, I made a great deal more rolls than Ree did in her blog. I also love the cream cheese frosting. These rolls have a very light subtle pumpkin flavor. I am taking a lot of breakfast to school tomorrow.  Yum!

Gabbin’ About Gratitude

I am so grateful that I found a job that I still love today. The year is about a third over and moving very quickly. I am so blessed that I found a job where I can express my creativity, enjoy sharing my knowledge with my amazing students, and work with my team of colleagues.  I am determined to make this my best year ever, and so far I think I have done so.

Memory Musings

I have personally only owned three cars in my life. My first car was an orange Volkswagon bug, the second was a baby blue Honda CRX. I loved this car because it was a little two-seater that was extremely easy to maneuver. This little car brought me a great deal of joy. After 16 years I donated it to an organization. My current van is a 2001, and the writing is on the wall. I will keep it as long as it is possible.
