I have only liked the green
beans prepared by my maternal grandmother. Of course, now that I am an adult I
realized that she prepared hers with lard and bacon. Gosh, could that be the
reason I loved her beans?  Of
course it is!  Today, green beans
are supposed to be cooked so they are slightly crisp, otherwise we are losing
some of the health benefits.  I
personally, am happy watching everyone else enjoy these beans. Enjoy!
