I can't believe that I took this photo in the fridge. What more
can a person ask for in the background other than jalapenos
and Cool Whip? A must for every refrigerator.

        I love chocolate anything, so a pie sounds like a little bit of Heaven. I also took the pie to school to share and hear what everyone thought about it. I loved this pie. It is extremely rich and all you need is a small piece to be satisfied. I came home with absolutely NO PIE, which means it is another thumbs up for Ree. Good Lord, I brought pie and cake to school on the same day and both were completely eaten before I drove into my driveway. YEAH REE!

Random Reflections - The Glorious Garden

Astilbe 

These shade lovers are really a pretty flower

  

       The astilbe is a wonderful plant that grows best in the shade. Mine are in all shade and they are beautiful. The tag says that they can also handle partial sun.  Mine are a rosy pink color. The foliage is kinda like a fern. My flowers are about a foot tall and stand strong. This plant has been so easy to care for all year. Several times I have brought the flowers into the house for a beautiful bouquet. The flower blooms primarily in the spring and summer.  This one is a cinch!  Plant it!

      

Irksome Ideas and Images

         One of my pet peeves is call waiting. When I changed my company to Comcast, she asked if I wanted call waiting and I declined. Unfortunately, she put it on anyway. Even though my phone has this capability, I NEVER use it. First of all, when I tried it I did it wrong and disconnected both parties. What a drag.

         The reason I dislike call waiting is that I find it rude and disrespectful to the person you are talking to on the phone. I am not so important that I need to interrupt one call to take another, If it is important, the second caller will call again. If I am talking to someone who asks to put me on hold to answer another call, I tell them I will wait exactly one minute and after that they can call me back. I am not wasting my time waiting for anyone to take another call. How Rude!
