Week 40 Saturday (10/18/14)

Recipe Review
Today’s Recipe and Location:           Beautiful Roasted Vegetables
Found in: The Pioneer Woman blog

Once again, Ree makes something that looks so beautiful and inviting, but it is filled with the veggies that I cannot or refuse to eat. I love the onion and peppers, but this one is filled with some heavy hitter veggies. This recipe is a vegan’s dream. My sister, Susan, and my Mom would love this recipe.  If you love your fall veggies, then this is the perfect veggie recipe for you.

                 Gazing Ball

I love this gazing ball.  It is not as large as the majority of them that you see, but it is unique. I love the color and I have it standing near the front sidewalk where it can be a showcase item.  I think it’s funny how much I love so many of my garden decorations. Am I weird??

Helpful Home Hints

One of the important things to do in the bedroom is (get your mind out of the gutter) flipping your mattresses. This entails more than just flipping the mattress, you should also check to screws in the frame to see that they are tight. This can prevent the frame from breaking or falling apart. You should also check the mattress for wear and tear. The average lifespan of a mattress is 10 years. How old is yours?
