I figured out that there are 94 calories per serving, if 8 servings are made or 126 calories if 6 servings are made.. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

         Here is a marvelous side dish. I love, love, love, lime rice ever since I discovered Chipotle. This rice has so much flavor, that I ate it alone for dinner the other night. The lime flavor just made my day and the extremely low calories count helped me stay in my range. After you eat the rice, you get the added benefit of having it puff up inside your belly, and you are totally full for the rest of the night.  What more can a person ask for? 

It all began with a few garlic
cloves and some onions


Now you cook the rice

Next you need to add the chicken
broth and cook it until it thickens
and wa - la it's wonderful

My Gorgeous Girls


         Has spring sprung????  The girls loved this weekend as the snow began to melt, and they could finally manipulate the backyard without sinking in the snow.



We can see the grass. YEAH!!

Willow was so happy she was on
the actual deck instead of the snow




Little Sage was waiting for me
to tell her to go out and play

My poor grasses have been so burdened with snow


I love the way they look soft and willowy
