Why can’t I learn to love salmon? Every magazine article I read, talks about the health benefits in salmon. Unfortunately, I just don’t like the taste.  Maybe I should have tried this recipe. Maybe this one would be the ticket. But alas, I am not going to do so.  I love that I used the word “alas.”
Oh well, for all of you health gurus, here is the dish for you.  I am jealous.

Trivial Triffles

I read the in news, that The Duchess of Windsor, Kate Middleton, visited the set of Downton Abbey.  I absolutely love that show, and thought it was neat that she visited this wonderful mansion.
I was surprised to learn that she was due at the end of April, because she is hardly showing. She dresses in what I would call a classy manner. She always looks put together and is actually setting trends like her mother-in-law Diana. This was just a fun fact to know and share.

Memory Musings

On Nov. 28 – 29, 1981, I was entered in a craft show at Pottawatomie Park. At the time I was creating hair scrunchies that we called “phoof phoos.” My sister, Kim, and her daughter, Maddie, were my models. I had photographed them, and their pictures demonstrated various ways to wear them. Over the two days, I sold so many, and had a really good time. My brother-in-law, Greg, created the most awesome display case for me. Crafting is even more fun when others appreciate your creations.
