Week 54 Tuesday (1/20/15)

Recipe Review
Today’s Recipe and Location:                    Caramel Apple Sweet Rolls
Found in: The Pioneer Woman Cooks: A Year of Holidays

I figured out that there are 209 calories per serving, if 62 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

I loved these sweet rolls. The caramel and apples are a wonderful winter flavor. Sweet rolls do take some time to make because you must make the dough, and then wait a minimum of an hour for it to rise. Then, the apple filling mixture must be created and allowed to cool. Once it is spread over the dough, the dough must be rolled, and then allowed to rise again for about 25 minutes. The baking part only takes a little more than 15 minutes. No matter how long this recipe takes to make, I will be making Ree’s sweet rolls many more times.  She has so many different types to choose from, and all of them are delicious!

Craft Corner

This is not really a craft entry, but a fun activity that I have been working on all winter.  In the winter, I always have a puzzle going on the dining room table. As I walk by to let the dogs out, I spot a piece to insert into the puzzle, and suddenly I am sitting there lost in the world of puzzles.  It is so relaxing and helps you forget the world around you for a time.
If you are stressed or need an escape set out a puzzle for the week.

My Gorgeous Girls

I love the Sandwich Veterinary Hospital. Previously, I have told you all about my pet insurance. My plan is wonderful. It covers the teeth cleaning for the girls, as well as blood tests. This has saved me so much money for Willow in particular. She needs a blood test this month to see if cutting back on her Prednisolone is okay for her system. I love that Anita sent this email to remind me to use up all of the services covered in the program. I wish my personal insurance worked like this does at the vet.

Hi Becky!!!!

Just wanted to remind you that you have a ton of services left for Sage and Willow before the 3-15-15 expiration of their paw plans. I tried to leave a message on your phone, but I don't think it went through. Please call and schedule an appointment to bring your babies in :)

See ya soon girlie :))))
