Week 53 Sunday (1/18/15)

Recipe Review
Today’s Recipe and Location:           BBQ Cocktail Wieners

I figured out that there are 43 calories per serving, if 49 little wieners servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

These BBQ dogs were not spicy, but
I love the KC Masterpiece Sauce

This recipe isn’t really a recipe to me. All I needed was BBQ sauce and two packages of Little Smokies and I was done. They are really good and I will be taking them to school tomorrow. If you like the BBQ sauce that you use, then you will be successful because that is the entire flavor. Quick, easy, and yummy.

Trivial Triffles

One of the things I am truly looking forward to in January, is the beginning of Season 5 for Downton Abbey. I was a late addition to the show, as I joined the audience in Season 2. My friends Madonna and Deborah made sure I had the DVDs going into spring break, so I could catch up. I love this show and can’t wait for its return.

Memory Musings

When I was 18 years old, I began house sitting for the Johnson and Zersen families. This also entailed taking care of the family pets. The Johnsons had two German Shorthairs, that I loved, and I think the Zersens had a little white dog, if my memory is correct. This was a lucrative job for me, and left the families unconcerned about their homes while they were on vacation.

A life-changing event happened the last time I house sat at the Johnson’s house. I was having a lot of trouble breathing, and discovered that I had allergies. It took almost thirty years to get my allergies so that they were manageable.
