I figured out that there are
271 calories per serving, if 6 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary
depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)
Here is the mix that you dip the strings in prior to frying |

The final product - OMG are these great! |
Excessive amounts
onions and I are not friends like we were in the old days. Sometimes it really
stinks to get older. I figured I would make these onion strings and take a
little taste, and give the rest to Nicole and especially Marisa, her daughter.
I took a few and popped them in my mouth. OMG – I thought I had died and gone
to Heaven. The spices in these strings make them amazing. They were so great
that I ate a lot of them. I finally ran the rest to Nicole’s house before I
downed the entire batch. If I had a huge plate of these in front of the TV, I
could eat them all (and enjoy every single one) and not even realize I had
consumed so many. This is a must try!
Random Reflections
Here are some of my pond
friends. I have five sweet little frogs who scream when you go near the pond
and then jump into the air and go deep, deep, deep into the pond. When no one
is looking, they float spread-eagled on the top of the water. I get a kick out
of watching them as they climb in and out of the pond. Who knew frogs could be
fun?
This one is so big and green! |
My Gorgeous Girls
The roof is finished, and the
mess is cleaned up. The girls have returned to normal. Life is once again calm
and peaceful.
Willow looks relieved and is sooooo happy that the workmen have gone |
Sage is happy that she has her entire yard back to normal |
