What the Beck???
Playground Comes Down
This playground was here when I bought the house.
I was so happy that it went to a family with three
beautiful little girls. My advice was to paint it yellow
with stripes and polka dots. I was ignored because
they already had red paint. I know my idea would
have been darn cute! Oh well, I could have done
that and kept it, but I want the open space.
This is Wayne. He was referred to me by
Robbie, the previous home owner, as my "go to
guy" when there are things to get done that I
can't do alone. He is wonderful!!
He began by removing the slide and then the
swings in the front. Robbie asked me to get
this done, so they could remove the entire
thing in one evening.
Robbie worked with the girls' Dad and
Grandpa to pull it down.
It was secured in the ground by giant U-loops.
I love this photo! I wanted to get it moving
and lucked out.
Who knew it would land exactly where
they wanted it in the trailer?
Now, it was just a matter of sliding it onto the bed.
It was really heavy!
They did get it all in securely.
Now, to get it past the tree branches.
Yeah!!! There it goes, to be loved by those little girls.
This is all that remains of the swing set...a pile of sand.
