What the Beck???

Creekside at Caney Fork Stream 
(running parallel to Peavler Lane)

 This is the creek that runs parallel to my Lane.

The road is immediately to the left in this photo and

the creek always takes my breath.
I found the name Caney Fork Stream on a local map.

It is so green and lush right now.

This is so cool.  Denise told me that this used to be the

road in the Civil War days. The wagons drove

right up the creek since it is usually shallow.

I also learned that the slaves stacked the rocks on the sides

to prevent the narrowing of the creek.

I love learning the history of this place.

Steve, isn't this so awesome?

You can see one of my neighbors way up the hill.

I haven't officially met them yet.

Here you can see how close the Lane is to the creek.
The creek is near the bottom of my property.

The neighbors trimmed and thinned the trees because the Lane

is so narrow and an accident could easily occur.

It gives me such joy...

to live here!
