What the Beck???
Recipe Review
Today’s
Recipe and Location: Seasoned Buttery
Crackers
Found in: The Pioneer Woman Cooks: blog at
Ree’s
recipe called for a sleeve of crackers, but only 35 fit on my pan. When the
crackers are finished, they are savory and definitely flavorful. These were one
of the treats Ree made, and sent to her daughter in college.
I figured out that there are
37 calories, for one cracker. (Please note that the calorie counts vary
depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)
Here are the ingredients that I used to make this recipe.
After I preheated the oven,
I placed the rack over my Silpat pan.
I melted the butter and added the spices.
A bad photo of dipping the crackers in the
butter mixture (on both sides)
Here are the dipped crackers awaiting a visit to the oven.
Right out of the oven.
They are warm and brown and wonderful.

“You
regret the things that you don’t do
more
than the things you do.”
My Dad said that to me before I moved to Florida.
IT’S
RAINING OUT…
I really don’t understand why ALL people do not
turn on their lights when it is raining or heavily misting. Didn’t we learn
that in Driver’s Ed. Class? I swear that I remember Fred Bruder teaching me
that concept. Maybe the other
instructors out there forgot to focus on that one.
