The Best of Nelson County 2017
Background: I was reading The Kentucky Standard, our local newspaper, and they had a section called The Best of Nelson County 2017. This section listed 100 categories for the Readers' Choice Awards. This is the sixth installation of my visits to these winning business locations.
#92 Best Lawn & Garden Supply Store:
The winner was Lowe's
I know Lowe's because there was one in
my Illinois hometown.
They mixed the paint for my dog bed project.
I saw this chandler and thought it was pretty.
It would look nice over my dining room table,
but it is a little fancy for this country house.
#4 Best Steak:
The winner was BJ's Steakhouse

I had the bacon cheeseburger, and loaded potato.
Can I just say that this is a ridiculously amazing meal.
It looks like I licked my plate clean, but...
I packed half of it up for dinner before I began eating,
so that I didn't overeat.
Whoa! Can you say bourbon sauce pecan pie?
I did! Now, I have to go to the gym tomorrow, too.
This is bar area. It was pretty dark in there
so my photo isn't too great.
I strongly recommend this steakhouse.
The service was excellent, the staff very nice,
and the food was outstanding.
