Background: I was reading The Kentucky Standard, our local newspaper, and they had a section called The Best of Nelson County 2017. This section listed 100 categories for the Readers' Choice Awards. This is the fifth installation of my visits to these winning business locations.

These sweet, happy ladies waited on me last week
when I went in to purchase additional dishes for
my black and white set. At Mary's is a "must visit"
spot in the town of Bardstown!

#6 Best Chicken:
The winner was Lee's Famous Recipe
Lee's is a favorite of many people in the town.
Initially, I went to Lee's with my brother-in-law, Greg.
Later, when Kim came down again with Greg, we went there again.
I personally love the chicken strips. They are served
with six or seven choices of dipping sauces.
They are also one of the few restaurants
that serve pink lemonade. Good stuff!
