What the Beck???

Recipe Review

Today’s Recipe and Location:  Nutella Wontons
Found in: The Pioneer Woman blog

I figured out that there are 105 calories, if 24 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to use.)

I have never cooked with wonton wrappers before. This was a new experience that I really loved. This was such a quick and easy recipe that I would definitely make for a party. Nutella is a wonderful product that I discovered last year. The hardest part for me was to figure out how to fold the wrapper correctly.  I should have known how to do this, because I am a big fan of Crab Rangoon, which is made with these wonton wrappers. The frying didn’t take long, but I only made a few at a time.  Try these, because they are wonderful!

Here are the ingredients that I used to make this recipe.
Gosh, I realized I didn't include the oil and the
confectioners sugar in this picture. OOPS!

First, I beat the egg to help seal the wonton wrapper.

Here are the wrappers. I learned that you
have to work fast, so that they don't dry out.

I put about 1/2 teaspoon toward the corner of each wrapper.

 Yikes!  So blurry!
This is the beginning of the rolling of the wrapper.
The next step was to fold the sides under and toward the back

I'm still not sure this is done correctly.
It looked better when I turned it over.

During frying, it was important to
watch the temperature of the oil

After frying, I put them on a paper towel.

After frying and draining,
I sprinkled on powdered sugar.

The finished product.
