I
figured out that there are 300 calories, if 8 servings are made, and 399 calories for 6 servings, and 599
calories for 4 servings. (Please note that the calorie
counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to
use.)
I loved these pancakes. Lemon always
seems refreshing to me and I think they were a nice change for breakfast. Would
I want them daily – No, but once in awhile would be wonderful.
I began by removing the zest from the lemons.
I saved the lemons for late use.
In a bowl I added the milk, and
the lemon juice.
I stirred the two and set it to the side.
In another bowl, I began to add the dry ingredients.
I started with the flour,
the sugar,
the baking powder,
and finally the salt.
I mixed the dry ingredients together with a whisk.
Now, back to the milk and lemon juice.
I stirred in the vanilla.
It was now time to mix the wet and dry ingredients.
When it was partially mixed together, I added in
the eggs, one at a time.
After stirring, I added in the melted butter,
and finally the lemon zest.
In a skillet I melted the butter,
and then poured in the pancake mix.
For a nice breakfast, there is nothing like a pretty plate.
This is one of Ree's plates for sale at Walmart.
They are so pretty they make me smile.
My pancakes were done and smelled wonderful!
Ta Da! A great breakfast.
They were simply fabulous.
