What the Beck???
It's April, not December for Heaven's sake.
They don't even look happy.

I love it when Sage gets snowflakes on her nose.

Dethatching
My fabulous neighbor, Steve, let me borrow his dethatcher
on one of the nice days last week.
The yard didn't look so hot.
First, you drive the machine in one direction until it looks
like you are harvesting a wheat crop.
This was so much work to rake into rows.
I had three rows across the backyard.
Then, you rake the rows into smaller piles.
Now, bend at the waist and put it in a bag.
The worst part is now you start have to go
the other direction, and do it all again.
By this time, your hands hurt,
your back is killing you, and you know you
are a fool for not hiring it out.
Then it dawned on me, that I still had
to do both side yards and the front.
Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my.
It is a shame that Willow is just watching and not helping.
She is so darn cute, however!
