I figured out that there are
206 calories per serving, if 10 servings are made. (Please note that the calorie
counts vary depending on the specific brands of ingredients that you choose to
use.)
Another fabulous
corn recipe from the ever amazing Ree Drummond!. This recipe has such a great taste. I love the jalapenos and
bell peppers. Ree has the perfect
recipe. I would love this with a
hamburger or steak or chicken or pork chops….. okay I would like this dish as a
side dish to anything. This one is
a keeper!
Don't the bell peppers and chilies look amazing? |
Today’s
critics:
Brandy - Very good! Yum. You hit a homerun with everything
in that batch!
The
Serpicos: “Marissa bellied up to
the bowl: We added shredded
cheddar cheddar.
Random Reflections
I seem to be a
failure at meditating. I read a
few different books on the topic and tried so many things but I failed
miserably. I can’t seem to clear my mind and keep new thoughts from entering
it. I tried to repeat a word and
relax but the entire time I am wondering how long I have been at it, and then
the other thoughts invade the space.
What will I have for dinner?
What is that noise? Am I
sitting up straight enough? What
should I do later? I so want to open my eyes and look around. Oh well, another area investigated and
attempted but it just is not for me.
I guess I was born to keep busy and be a little stressed.
Irksome Ideas and Images
I will never understand why
some people do not remove their hat when the National Anthem is played. Do they truly have no respect for our
country or are they secretly worried about how bad their hair looks? Could it
be that we have just become so complacent that we don’t think we have to be
respectful? Or is it just plain
old laziness? Who knows? Wake up people and remember that you
could be living in a place like Afghanistan or Iraq where freedom is but a
dream.
